Good morning! Here is your 15-minute SharePoint tip for today.
Day 28 | Week 4 — Product Owner Mastery
SharePoint Certifications and Learning Resources
You’ve completed 28 days of daily learning. Today’s tip maps out how to continue developing as a SharePoint expert beyond this series.
Microsoft certifications to consider
MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
Entry-level. Covers M365 concepts including SharePoint at a high level. Good if you want a formal foundation certificate. Exam: ~$165. Preparation: 2–4 weeks of study.
MS-100 / MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator
Intermediate. Covers SharePoint administration in depth alongside Exchange, Teams, and security. Recommended if you want admin-level credibility. Exam: ~$165 each.
MS-721: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer
Covers Teams and SharePoint in the context of enterprise collaboration. Relevant if your role spans both platforms.
Power Platform certifications (PL-900, PL-200)
Highly relevant if Power Automate and Power Apps are part of your SharePoint product scope.
Free learning resources
Microsoft Learn (learn.microsoft.com) — free, structured learning paths for every SharePoint topic. Filter by "SharePoint" and "Product Manager" role. The SharePoint administrator learning path covers everything from this series in interactive modules.

SharePoint lookbook (lookbook.microsoft.com) — a gallery of real SharePoint site designs you can provision directly to your tenant as inspiration and starting templates.
SharePoint Message Center — in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Health → Message Center. Filter by "SharePoint." This is where Microsoft announces upcoming feature changes. A Product Owner should check this weekly.
